The houses in Kovachevitsa where built in such a way that the eaves of the roofs almost touched each other. It was quite within the capacities of a man, should so he decide, to set out over the roofs of the lower part of the village and reach the upper part. This was one of the many ways of fleeing from rulers and robbers. In times past, rulers and robbers had not been considered very much different, and in the views of several people today, that difference remains disputable to this day....
The house owned by TLC is located on an ancient Roman street.
It is completely renovated in the traditional style.
The total floor space amounts to almost 300m2. The house has 5 bedrooms, two bath rooms, a meeting room (former stable) a large living, a well equipped kitchen and two huge 'chardaks' (balconies).
Around the house there is ample space (some 1500m) and in the garden an impressive traditional barbecue is present.
